Introduction
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology is a substantial qualification that has been designed to prepare you for a career as a reflexologist. This qualification covers:
Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice for complementary therapies
Knowledge and understanding of business practice for complementary therapies
Anatomy, physiology, and pathology for complementary therapies.
You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology services
This is a practitioner level qualification.
National Occupational Standards (NOS)
This qualification is regulated on the Regulated Qualifications Framework and is approved and supported by Skills for Health, the sector skills council for health. It is recognised by the UK’s leading professional association, the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) as being fit for purpose for preparing you for a career as a reflexologist.
Prerequisites
To undertake this qualification, you must also achieve the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) for Complementary Therapies and Sports Massage qualification. This is an online course with an exam and will be completed prior to starting. VTCT L3 Reflexology is designed for learners aged 16 years and over.
Assessment
Throughout this qualification you will produce a portfolio of evidence. This will confirm the knowledge, understanding and skills that you have learnt. Your work will be assessed, and quality assured by centre staff. An external quality assurer, appointed by VTCT, will visit our centre to sample and quality-check assessments, the internal quality assurance process and the evidence gathered.
Case studies
You must carry out and document evidence for at least 100 treatments, which must be carried out on a minimum of four clients. There must be a minimum of six treatments for at least two clients.
Observation outcomes
You will be observed on three occasions by your assessor to show your competence.
Assignments
You will complete four assignments to show your knowledge.
Exams
You will complete two exams.

The course will be delivered one day a month over six months 10.00am-4.00pm.
